Also as a tourist attraction we can mention the Barringer Meteorite Crater, simply called ¨Meteor Crater¨ which is a large hole in the middle of the Colorado Plateau plains. The Grand Canyon represents by far Arizona’s main tourist attraction. Nowadays it is adapted to the needs of a small city and you can easily find the Grand Canyon Village where hotels, restaurants, lodges, laundry rooms, banks and stores can be found. It is adapted to the modern times and the only thing really old is the Grand Canyon itself. It even has its ‘own railway – The Grand Canyon Railway- which is used for bringing tourists to the village.

Don’t imagine that visiting the Grand Canyon would mean only a photo trip and that’s it. There are a lot of things to do like rafting, hiking, long tours around the canyon.
