Australian Mobile Phone Directory

I live in an European country and I know from my mobile phone carriers that if you ask for someone’s number, they will never provide you. Perhaps if you come with an authorization from Police or from another authority, maybe you will obtain the phone number and the conversations that a person had in a certain day, but if you are John and you require for the Jack’s number, then be sure that you will never find it. And one more thing, there are more carriers in the country I live. Let’s say you call Orange and you say that you want the number of the person that has too many debts at your bank, because the number that he gave you is no good anymore, or probably that person cancelled the number, so that you, the bank, to never find him again. In this case, the operator will not provide you the number, because he or she can’t recognize you work for that certain bank you tell him or her that you work for.

In this situation, you must have some paper from the Police or from another Bank, which is higher that the one for which you work, that will make the operator present you the information that you need. We were asked to write about the mobile carriers or networks that are in Australia and about the phone directories that are on that continent. I doubt that the Australians have other rules that my country, this is why I will only present you a list with the mobile carriers that function in Australia. After this, you can enter their sites and see additional information.

According to the site named: mobilephonesecrets.com.au, Telstra-Mobile Net is the first carrier in Australia on this site. Then, there is Optus. Vodafone and Orange are next and then there is 3 – Hutchison 3G Australia.
