20 years ago if I had tried to find a phone directory it have been an adventure. That’s because of the absence of the internet and the absence of so many communication techniques. If I want to find a specific doctor for example, all these directories are the best indexes. I use those directories in my everyday work. They are easy to use, easy to look for people, companies, different type of services and for me are of a great help.

Believe it or not, my story is quite similar to yours. Actually I am from the US and was supposed to meet a couple of friends which were now living in Spain, somewhere around a restaurant called Scholarhio or something like that and I was completely lost. I couldn’t take a cab because I didn’t have any euros and the cab driver would not accept American dollar so I kind of had to search the restaurant on foot. When I finally came across a nice Greek lady on the street that could actually understand my English she told me the way to the restaurant was a bit complicated but I should stop by a newspaper stand and buy either a map or a phone directory and so I did. Wonderful information found in there helped my find my way not only that day, but for the next 9 of my Greek vacation.
