Las Vegas is the number one city from US worldwide known as the major gambling and associated entertainment, resort, fine dining and shopping center. Whether you plan a trip to Las Vegas or you live in there are moments when you would like to call a certain person or to know the owner of a certain number, then you need a phone directory. A good thing on the internet is that there is not just a single Las Vegas phone directory.

The downside of this is that you might get confused when choosing which one to use. The rule of thumb is that the best is the one who can return usable results for free or at the lowest price. First start searching for free what you are looking for. Many of the free directories can do a pretty good job, but there is a bad thing about them. These ones might have an old database that is updated very rarely and as you know people change their phone provider quite frequently when trying to find a good calling plan.

Just think about last time a telemarketer called you to present a good deal if you change your calling plan to their company. Not even paid directories can’t keep up with the movement of communication market, only phone companies have the newest data about their clients.

Here are just some of the useful sites   l http://www.isleuth.com/lasvegasphone.htm, http://las_vegas.iaf.net/white_pages_city/38168.html, http://www.dexknows.com/geo/c-las_vegas-nv/, http://www.phonenumber.com/phone-book/North_Las_Vegas-NV/, http://www.visitlasvegas.com/vegas/index.jsp, http://lasvegas.findlinks.com/ to find addresses, phone numbers or people in Las Vegas.

Online phone directories. Landline customers can ask to exclude their phone number from listing after paying a small fee that ranges from $0.80 to $1.50.  Cell phone number can’t be included in a "Your Listing Not Published" service because every cell phone company has an independent database. Due to public debate and the strong opposition led by consumer protection organization and privacy concerns cell phone numbers are not released into a 411 type directory. Nevertheless paid directories can include up to 80% from the cell phone numbers available.

Phone books have been around from the first landline phones and still exist but internet technology have made them obsolete in some cases. You can't search just in several seconds thousand of names and addresses in a normal phone book because this will take you lots of time just by skipping trough the pages. The internet is growing everyday sites can disappear or appear in split seconds. Phone directories are not protected from going to oblivion if they don't provide good results to their customers. All phone directories that you find are in the first position because they provide good results to customers and are indexing more and more records everyday to meet their visitors expectations.

Another way to find phone numbers or addresses from Las Vegas is to use a search engine and type the number or the name you are looking for. If you are searching for information about a business you can get lucky and find their website and from there you can go to contact page and talk to their stuff. When searching for people you can also use search engines and use people search operators.
